We met at the scheduled R & R, had Teh Tarik and waited for some cars to arrive, as usual our last minute repair man MR.Tee Sri Lanka Arasoo finally came with a new alternator and a his mechanic in his beauty Bertone.
Mr.Walking Tall K.K.Tang came to send us off as he had a prior engagement (thank you for your sporting support)
Dr.Marcus a long lost member finally joined us in his GTV 6.(an original beauty)
As usual Pres is always late (he never breaks tradition since his club secretary days)
Channel made it although late as akademi fantasia was not being aired.
Our VP and Steward on austerity drive so they shared one car.
New member Alfred was welcomed in his 156, new kid on the block.

Off we left at 5.30 pm lead by our in house living road map...Pres.the cars that were flying were the classic bertone, Alfreds 156 and Pres gtvV6, back markers were the rest and then there was a Vitara driven by Teddy bear, tried to keep up then he gave up and told us he will meet at the PD Club.

Very nice curvy roads along the way...Dr.Marcus had a loose battery connection ,we stopped by the road side and our secondary mechanic also our club treasurer Mark Anthony rectified the problem with his tools(ahem ahem).

Our Lawyer stood there giving light thru reflection from his bald head...our club well equiped lah

Along the way we stopped a few minutes at a petrol station then proceeded...Ed had to ask his wife to drive as he gets blind as nite falls otherwise he would have ploughed on Sri Lanka 's bella.

We reached the club at 8 pm to wonderfil poolside tables and good food and fanfastic company. Laughters rang thru out the club...beers being poured while food came late as usual like in any club...I wonder why the clubs service always slow even at KL clubs.
Steward(Ah Kua) was complaning the satay was not cooked well but before we can complain to change he ate it all ..so VP said now if you complain looks ridiculous...

All had a great time and adjourned at about 10 pm heading towards the normal route and our new kid alfred wanted to use the same road back...mmmm very hero mah. Anyway he was great company..all in all we all had a wonderful time with alot requesting us to organise this kind of drives on a Saturday evening more often ..
